Morfloor; What happened previously.

Mrs. Laia Ma’eref, the late founder of Morflor Collection, was born in 1354 in the east of Tehran in a middle-class family. His education began in the midst of the Iran-Iraq war in Fakhami primary school. Consecutive school vacations during the war caused the mother of Ms. Ma’ref to take over her education herself.

In 1368, his parents died in a traffic accident and Ms. Ma’arif’s preliminary education was stopped in the second grade.

In 1368, his parents died in a traffic accident and Ms. Ma’arif’s preliminary education was stopped in the second grade.

Dr. Maaref’s great interest in design and fashion and of course trying to make a living made him start working as a make-up assistant at the Coco Chanel Institute in Paris while studying. At the age of 30, he became the executive assistant of Karl Lagerfeld, the CEO of Chanel. Also, in parallel with the mathematical activity in the field of bending surfaces and their relationship with clothing and body anatomy, the joint collaboration of the designer with Miyaki, a Japanese designer, also began, which resulted in the Chanel Fashion Week 95 in Paris.

As Dr. Ma’arif herself always talked about her double life, she was an Iranian lady who had become a bridge between fashion and mathematics at the borders of science and art. As he wrote in a letter addressed to one of his friends:

“I don’t know why people see so much mathematics in the ivory tower. For me, Scandalis, Miyaki and Lagerfeld are all the same. All of them represent Laya. Mathematics and art. If I were to come to this world 10 more times, I would leave again, it would not be otherwise.”

Lagerfeld was very fond of Leia. Although he was always avoiding the world of media, in an interview, knowing him is the discovery of an oriental genius.

In 2005, meeting and marrying Max Scarberry, the owner of a parquet factory in Tallinn, marked a turning point in the life of the artist. A time to align his various endeavors in mathematics and art; Zhukovic’s theorem in mathematics, the concept of luxury in design and a reminder of wood experience from his carpenter father.

In 2007, Mrs. Ma’arif shared with Max the idea of making wooden parquet with curved edges for the floor. The answer to the question of how to cover a plan with non-rectangular parquets? Of course, Zhukovic’s theorem provided him with the necessary algorithms for the final arrangement of such tiles.

Immediately the Bole parquet brand was registered and started operating by Max in Estonia, and 3 years later, apart from the European Bole representatives, a branch of this company was opened in Virginia, and with less than 4 years of activity, the Bole company became one of the most reliable parquet brands in the world. became.

Parquets that were not mass produced. Rather, they were designed and produced according to the customer’s plan and especially with edges that are not necessarily linear. Ultra-advanced mathematics for the construction of computational algorithms for flooring in different plans along with a revolutionary and completely luxurious event in the parquet industry, all of which were very close to the luxury-oriented interests of the Chanel era.

In a manuscript dated 2013, Leia writes: “Destiny has asked me to fight”. And so it was. In the same year, Leia and Max separated from each other. Due to the registration and ownership of Bole by Max, no share of Bole company was awarded to Dr. Maarif. In September of the same year, Laia Maraf left for Iran. In the same year, in a letter to Karl Lagerfeld, he wrote: “I have been away from my country for almost 22 years now. Dear Karl, you know very well that during this time I reached places in both mathematics and art that maybe few women in the world have been. I will return to Iran. With all its troubles and conflicts. what can be done?! For me, who does not have a mother, of course, the homeland is a good alternative.”

This departure did not have the slightest effect on the amount of effort, love and thirst of Mrs. Maraf for life and work. From the very beginning, he started the activities related to the construction and establishment of an Iranian but completely luxurious brand for his old idea. Of course, this time, along with mathematics and art, a bag of experience in the wood industry was also added. In 2017, Ra’af registered and established a parquet brand and factory with the most up-to-date machines. Morflor parquet.

In January of 2019, Morflor collection mourned this Iranian genius. Mrs. Dr. Ma’arif died in Khatam Al-Anbia Hospital in Tehran after a one-month struggle with covid disease.

And the rest of the corrections are good with the Lord of rewards and good spelling
